How the activity works
The ‘SEA CRUISE’ activity lasts approximately one hour, departing from the port of Capbreton in the Landes region. This trip takes place aboard the motor launch ‘Vedette’, with passenger numbers limited to 12 to ensure a friendly atmosphere and the chance to chat with the captain.
1️⃣ Itinerary and schedule:
- Boarding: please meet at the port of Capbreton at the time agreed when booking.
- Departure and sailing: the catamaran leaves the Boucarot channel and heads out to sea to sail along the southern coast of the Landes.
- Exploration and sightseeing: enjoy unique views of the Côte d’Argent, spot marine wildlife (you might even see dolphins) and seabirds, and discover the ocean’s riches. The captain shares anecdotes, local stories and maritime legends throughout the trip.
- Interaction and discussion: the intimate setting allows you to ask the captain questions and learn more about the region, the wildlife, the geology (notably the Capbreton Gouf), and local maritime history.
- Return to port: after about an hour’s sailing, return to the port of Capbreton.
2️⃣ Practical tips:
- Bring sunglasses, sun cream, a camera, binoculars and a notebook to make the most of the experience.
- We strongly recommend booking as early as possible, especially during the high season.
