You’ll be provided with a quad bike or mini-motorbike, suited to your age and build, and a helmet. Under the supervision of an instructor on a secure track, riding a two-wheeler on the sand requires control of the vehicle to ensure an enjoyable experience.

How the activity works
1️⃣ Welcome and registration
1. Venue: Thomas, Moliets.
2. Participants:
- Quad bikes: from 6 years old (up to 14 years old).
- Mini-motorbikes: from 8 years old (110 cc for adults as well).
2️⃣ Safety briefing and equipment
- Instructions: an instructor will explain how the vehicles work and the safety rules.
- Protective gear: helmets provided; tracks fitted with safety barriers.
3️⃣ Introductory circuit
- First few laps: all participants start on a beginners’ circuit under supervision.
- Adaptation: the instructor assesses participants’ ability before directing them to the other tracks.
4️⃣ On-track practice
- 3 circuits with different levels of sand tracks suited to age and equipment (quad bike or mini-motorbike).
- Adult mini-motorbikes: a dedicated track for 110cc bikes, requiring technical skill.
5️⃣ Safety and supervision
- Supervision: instructors are on hand to assist in the event of any difficulties.
- Compulsory attire: long trousers and closed-toe shoes to prevent burns and grazes.
- Caution: the sandy ground makes slipping more likely.
6️⃣ Practical information
- Equipment: 30 vehicles available (quads and mini-motorbikes).
- Additional facilities: picnic area and on-site catering.
Note: the activity takes place exclusively in the afternoons during the summer, with a focus on gradual learning and safety.
