Our Valado Campsite is in a pine forest, just 2 km from Nazaré, a former fishing village that is now well-known for surfing thanks to the big waves. This is the perfect base camp for exploring the central region of Portugal: Alcobaça Monastery, the fishing village Peniche, the medieval town of Obidos and of course the capital Lisbon, a 1.5-hour drive away.
Make sure you try the local specialities and gourmet delights, especially grilled fish and seafood.
With your comfort in mind, all the chalets on our Valado Campsite have an outdoor seating area with patio table and chairs, 2 bedrooms, a private bathroom, fully equipped kitchen area, a living area with TV and heating. All these facilities guarantee you’ll have a great time as a family, as a couple or with friends. Our Valado Campsite is in the perfect location to be able to enjoy cultural and sports activities on your holiday, and also relax at the seaside.

To cool off, there’s nothing better than a swimming pool, open right from the beginning of the season.
Activities and entertainment
Take advantage of the on-site facilities on our Valado Campsite, such as the sports pitch (tennis and football), table tennis tables and the children’s play area.
During the peak season (July and August), our entertainment team organises activities for people of all ages.
Services
As for shops and food services, there’s a restaurant and a snack bar on the campsite, with a selection of dishes, and a mini market open during the season. Free Wi-Fi in the campsite’s communal areas.
